“The latest figures from the State’s Office of Liquor and Gaming Regulation show nearly 44,000 poker machines in Queensland clubs and hotels have swallowed up a collective $1.36 billion so far this year.

“The report, to be released in Canberra today, is expected to focus on problem gambling.
